Native Counselling Services of Alberta (NCSA) Healing Lodges house Indigenous male and female inmates that are conditionally released and federally sentenced. The facilities are centered around Indigenous culture and focuses on supporting individuals through their transition to become contributing and self-sufficient members of our communities. We are currently looking for individuals to fill the various primary worker positions in both our male and female facilities and that are flexible on their work schedules. The individual(s) should be open to learning, dependable and supporting the residents.

The Deputy Director plays a key leadership role in supporting the strategic and day-to-day operations of the Healing Lodge. Rooted in traditional healing practices and cultural values, the Deputy Director collaborates with the Director and CEO to organize Elders, staff, and community partners to ensure the delivery of holistic trauma-informed, and culturally safe programming for clients. The role involves program oversight, staff supervision, operational support and culturally safe programming for clients. The role involves program oversight, staff supervision, operational support and relationship building, ensuring the Lodge continues to meet the mission of healing, growth and cultural reconnection.
