Native Counselling Services of Alberta (NCSA) is currently seeking two dedicated and motivated individuals to join our Integrated Case Management Team (ICMT) in the role of HOW Team Lead and a Navigator Team Lead. These two positions provide day-to-day leadership, mentorship and program support to frontline staff working with individuals and families navigating housing, stabilization, systems access, wellness, and long-term goal planning. The individuals we are looking for must be dependable, proactive, trauma informed and committed to guiding staff and clients through complex and changing situations in a positive and strength-based manner.

The court worker program is free of charge to assist individuals through the family court system. Our Indigenous Healing Lodges houses Indigenous male and female inmates that are conditionally released and federally sentenced. The facility is centred around Indigenous culture and focuses on supporting individuals through their transition to become contributing and self-sufficient members of our communities. We also have the Indigenous Housing facilities where the primary workers play a vital role in the day to day operations of our facilities. Currently we are looking for individuals to fill various positions in both male and female facilities. The peacemaking circle includes Elders, volunteers identifying the spiritual, religious, cultural practices and how to incorporate this into the circle process. The outcome of the circle is a prepared court report with recommendations. The individual we are looking for should be outgoing, involved in their community, dependable, organized and take initiative to assist clients as referred by the courts.

The individual we are looking should be culturally involved, live and practice their culture, be a role model to the residents and working with other Healing Lodge staff on a day-to-day basis.
